All Tweeple out there follow at least a few celebrities. Some choose to follow a celebrity because they are a fan. Others follow celebrities in hopes that they’ll reply to one of their pathetic pleas for a shout out. Every Twitter user has their own reason for choosing to follow certain people. And, the rest are just trying to inflate their Follower Lists.
I follow quite a few celebrities on Twitter. However, there are celebrities that have I stopped following because their tweets made me want to stick a red hot poker up my ass. Yet, some celebrities I continue to follow for that very same reason.
I took a few examples from my own Following list and attempted to categorize them based on my reasons for following them.
