About This Series.

I’m not going to go in to details about my 25 plus years of experience with computers, networking, certifications, IT experience, editorial reviews printed, etc. And, I will never claim to be an “expert” in the technology field. An expert knows everything. Nobody knows everything there is to know about technology over the past 40 years.

But, I have been around the block a few times. And, this is likely to be the hundredth time I’ve written something like this. Interestingly enough, many lists of advice tend to contradict each other as technology in home computers and the Internet evolve on almost a daily basis.

So it never hurts to see these tips updated all over the Internet. The only difference from one author’s list to another’s is how much bias is mixed in to the final product. I try to account for the very wide diversity of opinions when it comes to product brands, aptitude of the end user and I attempt to be as specific as possible while being general enough for every reader to take something away from it.

It isn’t the New York Times. But, I’ve had plenty of mundane articles printed in that archaic medium. I’ve followed Chris Pirillo since the late 90′s and consider it an honor to grace his web portal with my work!

Click Here to read the article titled “Four Days Windows Free – An Ubuntu Gaming Experience“.

Sorry To Disappoint: You are not a PC.

There is no “best” operating system. It is as simple as that.

Now, before the Apple Fanbois, Microsoft Worshippers and Members of the Linux Fan Club start screaming foul and tossing technical nerd insults at each other; let me explain.
